At what settings should i run the bag door dial in my Electrolux Olympia One????

I use it semi daily with a 4 ply paper bag on fine dirt inside the house should i run it on setting 4 , 5 or 6 to maximize the bag use.

I don't own an Olympia One, but I have two 1205's, a Super J, a Silverado Deluxe, and a Diamond J. All of them I keep set in the middle, about 3 or 4, and they all seem to work just fine. My suggestion is to use the above setting, see how things go, and then make adjustments as necessary.

A comment from Gary Saarimaki that can be found here;

www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bi...

"Just so you know...the dial settings from 1 to 6 are not for suction...they control at what point the machine will automatically shut off depending on the type of dirt being vacuumed. Setting 1 is used when vacuuing fine dust (which will clog the bag pores sooner and restrict airflow) and setting 6 is for coarse dirt. The higher the number the longer the delay before the machines automatically shuts off.

Gary "

Antoine, here is a Vacuumland thread containing the Electrolux Olympia One owners manual. It has the information you need on how to set the Automatic Control dial.
