G3 hose & CSS on an UG Kirby...

The answer is NO & yes. ~~lol~~

Sam, you are partially correct.

The CSS (carpet shampoo system) will work just fine.

However, the hose needs to have the suction/blower connector changed, that is if you don't want to break something. The G3 fancase has a nozzle seal gasket ring & the hose has it's own gasket for sealing to the fancase.

Also, the suction/blower connector is approx. an 1/8" longer, not including the gasket itself. With this in mind & the fact that the models from the G5 & newer have a 'uni-gasket' that seals for any attachment; you cannot attach & lock into place the hose without breaking something.

Cheers & hagn all,

Bill

ok.... does anybody want my g3 since i'm getting my ultimate g diamond edition? it's in good condition, has a set of attachments, carpet shampooer system thingy (although i want to keep it for the ultimate g diamond edition) and hose (although i want to keep it for the ultimate g diamond edition). I washed the bag & emptor set-up to make it look good. It's been polished up since I've had it, although I'll do it again before it goes out.

Make me an offer on it... if it's good enough, i'll throw in the shampoo system and hose. I can always buy them for the diamond edtion after I get some more $.

I think that if you have listed it on here 3+ times, nobody wants it....

@chase STFU!!! You're input is not required, if you don't want it then don't say anything about it. Period, end of sentence.

DJ, to be polite, I honestly think that if by now nobody has contacted you about buying your Kirby, nobody will. I know you dislike Chase, but I think you could be a little less rude on a public forum. If you want to get rid of this machine so badly, put an ad on Craigslist or on eBay. On a slight side note on the subject of respect, I seem to remember an outburst to one Alexander Elliott from Seattle. Again rather uncalled for and horrible decorum. I hate to sound like your mother here, but 12 years of Catholic school teaches you respect and regard for others. Anyway, I'm done talking to you publicly. If you wish to respond to me, do so privately. My email address is in my profile. I, unlike you, will not make comments like yours where everyone can see them.
Stick a fork in me. I'm done.

Yeah honestly, I have a share of people on this forum that I personally do not like, but you do not see me flipping out on them. I was just speaking the truth, and I am pretty sure all of us are about sick of it.
