You should just buy a nice one off of Ebay and raid it for the parts. That would work if you want to restore a machine for sentimental reasons. I know a guy near Milwaukee that owns a vac shop that could do the repairs. Or you could go to an Aerus dealer, the sucessor to Electrolux and have them do it.
