These dustettes are not as uncommon as you may think in Aus... I had 4 of these at one stage and they pop up from time to time all over the place...

Aussie-plugs - yes in my opinion he's having the most fabulous dream! And if someone actually pays him 500 bucks for that - then they're dumber than a box of air!!!

Oh - my belly hurts from laughing so hard!!!

Please Note that the first picture is for display as the box

So its a fairly ratty 100 without box then- probably worth 5-10 tops!!!!!

And I know the spelling is wrong but thats copy/pasted from the listing lol.

Yup...pic of the Dustette with the box, and quoted historical info is stolen from my website, and the video is of MY Dustette also.

Dustette model 100s are still quite common, even in the original boxes..but I usually only paid between 2 and 10 for mine.

Sounds like a real mad dog who's selling that!

Not that old either.

This partucular model 100 is the later model, it has the slide on/off switch. The original has a rocker switch.

I have 3 of these too, in various states of disrepair. 1 is boxed, and an early model. The box graphics are the same as those for the toolset I have for my 750.

$500???????????? Perhaps if inflation took and astronomical increase and thevalue of money fell through the floor, then just maybe, however, around 5 would be closer to the mark for now methinks.

Happy hoovering guys and gals.

Nice one, Jack

I wonder if he'll ever think to check the video himself. He'll get quite a surprise! Good for you on asserting the copyright on your material too. It's time people learned that even if it's on the net, it isn't necessarily yours to use.

I just had a Duh moment, I turn the vid on, the message does come up!! I spoke too soon!

Even without the stolen property, who wants to pay $500 dollars for a Dustette?

"I feel your pain."

I've never had someone link to videos on my site but I do occasionally come across listings where the seller had direct-linked to files on my site. I have a few choice substitute images at hand for when that happens.......
