Surprised this little item and paper ephemera didn't generate a bidding war. |

But I was the only bidder in the final seconds. Our rising Canadian $ makes indulgences like this relatively painless again and even if it is not complete, the box itself is very nice and will make a fine accessory alongside the Filter Queens in the Throne Room. It will cost more than the $10 to ship it here but as I am only one week away from first dress rehearsals of Kiss Me, Kate, I simply can't take the time to dash down to Toledo to pick it up. The seller has been advised how to pack it up and to avoid using newspaper because the ink transfers from friction rubbing. Tip - If you must use crumpled newspaper to stuff voids (it's heavier than Styro peanuts, btw) wrap the wads in plastic grocerybags to prevent ink transfer. So, why didn't this unusual item not attract more attention? delighted Dave CLICK HERE TO GO TO aeoliandave's LINK on eBay |
