My aunt and I finally went to my friends' vac shop today so I could pick up my Mieles. I LOVE them, I don't regret buying them for one second! The Tango is definitely one of the coolest uprights I've seen. I did get a discount on them as well as some free bags and a "turbo mini" pet hair tool (which hasn't arrived yet).

Bear with me, I will be posting a ton of pictures! And here is a quick video that I made earlier today:

Lovely vacs you have three Alex, I`m sure you will have many years great service from them, I just wish the TOL model was in black!!!

Also the bag is seated properly, the dust compartment looks like it has fine dust in it and a bit of fluff on the top bag corner, either that or the bag has punctured!!!

happy vaccuumming, Mike

Mike,

It does look like dust but it's actually not, the inside of the bag door isn't painted 100%. Is this the same on your S7's, guys? As for the bag, it is on properly and it's sewn together, the frayed part is just a bit of extra edge.

The bag collar on the S7 can be a bit tricky, luckily it just pops back in if somehow you manage to pop it off. ;)

Great you've finally got your Mieles at last, Alex. Do they live up to your expectations?

(and some of those video shots look familiar...)

Mike - what you're seeing is where the metallic finish hasn't fully covered the inside of the bag-door:

And where the fleece lining is showing through at the bag-seam:

...or is this me missing your sense of humour again? lol

Jack,

Thanks for providing those pics!

Gosh Jack, do you even have to ask that question?!? I'm absolutely THRILLED with them! Worth every single penny. One thing I can say for sure is that I'll never get rid of these. Now I just have to get some special microfiber cloths to keep up the paint job like another collector and his S7. ;)

Spray-on finish

Rather disconcerting, isn't it? Makes you wonder why you bothered in the first place.

I know, as I had the same experience with my silver Bosch 'Logixx' dishwasher. I accidentally scratched the front fascia - quite a small nick - but my eyes kept seeing a different colour underneath. When I removed the lid of the dishwasher, the underside of the 'silver-grey' trim was decidedly white where the spray-on silver hadn't reached.

At least a standard white machine is white, through and through.

altho a beautiful machine....quality to match. this oversite or slack Q.Cntl standards on the inside covers of a high end vac from a highend maker ...isnt acceptable.
top dollar was paid....at least paint the entire inside of cover...even if its flat color. im just surprised that this passed QC paint coverage..has anyone ever complained of this to thm? not a huge deal...but kinda is because it takes a little away from the beauty of it.
