hmm... I notice a slight difference in design, I guess one might be earlier then the other, or maybe its just me.

I don't remember if the Portable I found had the cord winder or not, just that it was red and beige. It also seems like a dear friend of mine had a Portable also. After he passed, hopefully it went to a thrift store. Sister dumpstered a lot of his things, including family snapshots. Most were good things, she and thrift organizations only wanted just so much. I wasn't collecting vacs at the time.
