Convertible I think the Convertible was a good machine. To me, the only down side was that they tended to leak dust where the bag assembly connects to the machine. They could have used some type of gasket rather than a bead of silicone. | ||

I believe it was around 1978, with the introduction of the Concept 1. Up until that point, the Dial-A-Matic (Type D) bag was better by leaps and bounds! | ||

thats whats odd guys...the convertible has the f/g setup...5amp runabout 7.2 amp A bag...i tested each against a conquest..dial matic...and saw no real diff... what is it that makes an elite better? | ||
