I bought my mom one and she loves it. Plenty of suction. |

Remember guys, Electrolux Sweden has owned Eureka (formerly Eureka-Williams) for more than 35 years. No surprise the TOL machine was made in the home country. Rick C. |

Volta is another vacuum company owned by Europe's Electrolux. In the late 1980's, 120-volt versions of some suction only Voltas were married to Eureka power nozzles and sold in North America as the Excalibur. They rated really well in Consumer Reports testing in those years. I think the Excalibur canisters ended up in second or third spot in those days. Here is Volta's website: www.volta.se/node15.asp... You can see that the main unit of the Eureka Airmax on the market today is also made by Volta - married to a Eureka power nozzle. |

I have Swedish version of this. It's Volta F1 2110 from early 90's. Motor is 1200 watts. Bearings need some attention, but otherwise it runs great. It has a lot of suction and airflow for so old canister. I have washed all the parts and cleaned the motor. Volta Mega was next model with slight cosmetic differences.
