Be careful with that listing! For a machine described as NIB, it has a replacement wheel in a baby blue colour. Definitely NOT NIB anymore....very minty, but NOT NIB!

Hi KirbyLux - how can you tell that it has a replacement wheel? The colour looks correct to me. The Lagoon Blue colouring can have different shades depending on the material, be it plastic or rubber or metal. The colours on all three wheels look identical to me.

If I had the bucks, I’d drive down to New Jersey to buy it directly from the seller! 😀

Not new?!?!

The only thing I see that is not new is the pack of bags that would have been bought for the 2nd vac.If you look at the separate pictures of wheels they may seem to be different shades of blue.If you look at the pic showing all 3 wheels they do match. The 2 white spots on rear bumper are from sitting on original styrofoam packing and come off easily with rubbing alcohol(as I learned from Electrolux packaging). This seems to be exactly as the seller, with great feedback, describes. It would be nice to see the box that the seller says will be included and carefully packed.
Years ago I saw a similar case of brand new toaster & coffee pot from the 30s in antique store as a newlywed couple had 2 of each with 1 never used.

Yes…would be great to see the original box that this came in. Also…wonder if the cardboard tool caddy survived all these years as well!

Brian, if you look very closely at the close up photos in that listing, all 3 wheels look the same color in the main pics - BUT look at the close up photos and you can see the slight colour difference. Also, there is slightly more wear on 1 of the 2 rear wheels. That leads me to believe 1 is a replacement.

Sold for $505.

The color difference on the wheels is the lighting in the photos, and based on the packaging material stuck to the vacuum I'd say the original box got water damaged or moldy and was thrown out.

Eureka

As I learned from Electrolux packaging if the rubber bumper touches Styrofoam it can stick to rubber with no moisture or damage to box and be easily removed. I happen to know even though this was not and will be my Eureka the seller is including original box as he stated. Why would we make negative statements on a seller with good feedback and good pictures with little if any real information or evidence?!

-was not and will NOT be --

-is what I tried to say. We might also ask why is a phone a clock, keyboard, calendar, etc, etc?

Oh good for him, glad it didn't get sucked into "the horde" that I keep hearing about.

Count Vacula bought that Eureka?! Geez, I thought he was only interested in canister vacuums with power heads. He likes to send me emails every once in a while for some reason....
