Has anyone seen or heard of a FRANKLIN SUPREME vacuum cleaner??! I've never seen one before and couldn't find anything about it on-line.

Way to cool!

How does it run? I wonder what the tools would have looked like.

I haven't tried to run it yet. I just got it. I did find out that it was sold in Sears-Roebuck catalogs.

I've never seen or heard of them either, but my first thought when I saw the pics was that it looked like what you would get if you crossed a Kenmore "Torpedo Tank" with an Air-Way, and the clamps on the front cover and the handle look like Birtman parts, but when you said they were sold in the Sears-Roebuck Catalog, that pretty much confirmed my thoughts. I'll bet when you do fire it up it makes that "prrrreeeeeeennn" sound that we all love so much! Steve Holvay could probably give you more information, he's our Kenmore and Birtman expert.
