Greetings
New member here and honestly not sure of manufacture date of the vacuum. The "clip" that holds the bags in place has been lost. I am wondering if any member knows of a possible source for replacement. I know the part has been discontinued. I have checked local craigslist and ebay without luck. Machine runs very well - just hoping to be able to replace the missing part.

Thank you in advance for any and all replies

I think it would be important to note that this is a European Electrolux model, probably made in Hungary. If it is an UltraSilencer Green, the vacuum is similar to the Electrolux Harmony and probably has the identical bag clip. You might be able to source the clip in Europe and shipping won’t be that expensive.

Can you post a picture?

If you can’t find the part here in North America, the vacuum was called the Electrolux Classic Silence in Europe. Just write some of the vacuum part sellers in Europe using that name, and I am sure they can sell you a spare bag holder. The model number may be different in each country, but the body was always labelled “Classic Silence”.
