Does anyone know off hand what the cord length is for this model? U4503? I could measure it myself. I was trying to find a spec sheet for this model on here.

The U4503 was a pawn shop find this morning. Like I really need it.

It's somewhere in between 25-30 feet I believe. Those cords have been discontinued for quite sometime though. I used to drill out the strain relief and solder in the existing terminal to go to the switch.

Here's an ad from July 17, 1988, from THE ITEM:

I must've been asleep ... that ad gave the incorrect model number. Here's an accurate one from the Dec. 12, 1989, edition of the LODI NEWS-SENTINEL:

Kenny,

Most cords for household-grade vacs were 25 feet long, but some cheaper ones had cords with much shorter lengths such as 20 or even 15 feet.

That is why I like Kirby and Royal better, since they had at least a 32 foot long cord.
