For that ridiculous statement, I hereby declare you the Vacuumland Dumbass For the Month Of March, 2024. Hmm, now, what was that that Will Hemb, bnsd60m9200, said? I quote:

Les, by posting that post to The Henry Company & claiming you got your brushroll from them, you proved Will's point EXACTLY! Don't you get & understand that you got lucky & found one from a vac shop that has a hoard of old vac parts?! The average person out there that owns one of these Commercial Kirby's WILL NOT get so lucky to find one of these brushrolls - and if they do, they're gonna have to do TONS of searching online, calling local vac shops that have lots of NOS inventory, etc. If you haven't conveniently forgotten, I think the proof of this is the fact that Charles Richard Lester found that rare 500 series Kirby with the 18" head that he wound up having to use a modified Royal brushroll in.

I agree entirely with Will & Mike - this SuperVac 180 is rare, a collector's item, & is best placed in the hands of a collector, NOT in the hands of a normal consumer who will use it & run it into the ground.

As for your statement "Like always your knowledge is mere opinion and not fact. I even posted about it and iirc correctly you asked if they had more." Oh really eh? Last time I checked, Will has FAR MORE knowledge about vacuums than you do, & I think a LOT more people on this forum would take him more credibly if he speaks up with any knowledge than over you!

It never ceases to amaze me how RUDE, IGNORANT & AN ASSHOLE you can be at times on this website! Do us all a favor - delete your profile and go back under the rock you came from, and get lost!

Checkrate/Likes 2 Hello all, New to the forum, I have a SuperVac 180 that I saw a few posts on, I no longer use it, it has a new NOS cloth bag installed and runs like new. I only changed the paper bag one time so this unit has seen very little use. While I still have it, does anyone need any pictures of any part of it, it's all original and I bought it new, let me know, thanks and happy to meet all of you, Dave. Checkrate/Likes 4 You can use Eureka Style F&G or Royal Type A Bags. They're equivalent to what this would've used when they were still around. Personally, I think this would be better off in the hands of a collector since brushrolls haven't been available for close to 40 years. You don't come into these often. That's my 2 cents. If that person went with a Royal 18" Metal Upright or Sanitaire Widetrack, they would have a much better chance at getting replacement parts.

Checkrate/Likes 3 ill second repairman. kirby nla'd these 18" brushrolls back in 2003. a collector would be much more adept to own this. a regular person would trash it and get mad when they find out they cant get brushrolls anymore and put it on the curb.

Checkrate/Likes *David* As for what bags to use in your SuperVac 180, the other posters are correct - the Eureka F&G bags would be the correct substitute to use on the vacuum in place of the OEM bags. In fact, the generic Kirby Bag Conversion bags offered by vac shops in the 70s & 80s were designed to use the Eureka F&G bags, & besides from the outer bag being cloth, they are virtually identical to the outer bag on your SuperVac 180. However, if you or the next owner wishes to modify the vacuum's filtration, I would buy the Sanitaire ST Fill Tube Assembly. This converts any Sanitaire or Eureka vacuum that uses F&G bags to use the Sanitaire ST HEPA Cloth bags. The outer bag would have more than enough room to hold the bag, and it should work just like if you did it on a Eureka or Sanitaire.

I got them from one of the most reputable vacuum sellers in the US. You backtrack and say I prove tour point. I found one who didn't meet any of your criteria. Backpedal all you want. Call me names idc.ypu opened your mouth and left no doubt. The Super-vac came standard with F&G style bags. If you look in the thread I posted Chris has the bags that came with the Comvac and were the same for the SV18. The standard inlet of f&G fill tube starts 1 3/4" opening. The kirby is a little over 2 inc inches. I agree a st bag or even a kirby type v bag adaptor(Thomas Stephen modified a sanitaire that had an ST setup to take kirby type f bag adaptor. The vac comes stock with the F&G setup. If you change it t kind of takes away from the originality of the vacuum. Will I am don't reply I really don't want to hear it please and thanks.
