I haven't seen too many actual photos yet of owners with one but even though it's basically an Oreck with Hoover slapped on the front, this vac looks pretty cool. Love the colors on this better than the Oreck commercial. Atleast it's the real deal between Hoover and Oreck and not one of those "Perfect" clones LOL.

Interesting it's got a bit of red on the back of the bag. Not sure that also implies to the black model. If I ever come across with either one or both, sure I'll buy them for just the collection. But as a consumer, I know I can get the Oreck versions at a cheaper price and I'd have better luck finding the matching parts. Who knows how long those Hoovers would be on the market for.

Wouldn't the parts be interchangeable since Oreck under TTI is making this for Hoover?

Yes but I was referring the Hoover branded parts. I'd hate to have the parts swapped from separate names, colors, etc.

I'm not a huge hoover fan. Putting a small motor in a oreck clone will tarnish hoover name.

Agree.   It's all very sad.

Is there much left to tarnish?
