Does anyone have those days they just want to get done and not fiddle with the vacuum? |

Yesterday was a great example. Last week was a crazy week. Saturdays are really the only day we have time to get caught up. Normally I use the vacuum for everything. Once a month I use it to knock cobwebs, vacuum furniture and lampshades. You get the idea. We have a cat Noodles and a dog Rosie who are both effective when it comes to shedding so I usually vacuum weekly. Being that two out of three of my vacuums require assembly it really just leaves, the Lux Classic for the easiest cleaning. I just wanted to get done. I tried to just use the broom for my hard floors and vacuum the carpets. It didn't work. I ended up just vacuuming the house.
Does anyone else have those days where they don't feel like fiddling with the vacuum because it feels like it will take to long to get done? |

I know I’ll get negative messages about this But. During Covid I bought a Dyson V7 cordless off thier website. It was clearance priced. It was that old at the time. We have a 2000 square foot house and it is 90% carpet. We have two cats that shed a lot. For heavy cleaning we have an Electrolux Epic 6500, and two Dyson Animals, a DC07 and Cenetic Ball with a power nozzle. A few times a week we will use the V7, it can vacuum the house on one charge. We had our neighbor put a plug in the master bedroom closet and I mounted it there . I can vacuum up cat litter as the box is in the master bathroom. A few times a day.

I can understand that! My heritage too is not self-propelled and I can feel like I'm doing fine with it, it clamps down on the carpet and my back is done for the day. Maybe the next one too. Dug out an old favorite today and put on some music. Happy times! But yeah the back is screaming! Normally I do the concept one as I don't have to pick up and move much and it pulls itself

Yes, I have those days. When I am not in the mood to futz around with the vacuum and I just want it done and over with, I grab either my Shark Rocket HV381 or my Sebo Felix. I also have my Miracle Mate Platinum with TriStar CXL PN plugged in in my bedroom ready to use to clean my area rug and hardwood floor in there. And I don't have to move it around much.
David - Your new home that you're sharing with your partner looks fabulous! Very tastefully decorated. |

I use upright vacs for quick cleaning and canisters for most all else. A canister with cord winder is a cinch to take in and out and do the job for me. I love power npzzle canisters for most tasks. I have dedicated wand sets with bare floor brushes so I don't have to swap a power nozzle off its wand set. I'd easily choose a canister with bare floor brush over using a broom. Suck it all in rather than chase it around!

Feeling better today, maybe digging it out of storage got to me? I did find a new box of Perfect HEPA bags, I'm calling that one a win! I do very much. Enjoy the sound, the feel, the power and the things I can do with it. But it often gives me a setback. A 15 minute quick clean turns into 2 hours real fast. My storage at our house is limited. Currently it's stored in his son's room, he's only here during the summer and every other Christmas, but also at that age where it might not happen again. 😭 Very sweet kids ❤️ probably have a job and can't visit this summer 😢. We're lucky, both kids, his parents and his ex are very okay with us, actually seem to like me very much ❤️❤️. Lucky
