Hi everyone! Hope you’re all well. I just found an Ebay listing of several NOS Dirt Devil/Royal bag adaptors for the handheld vacuums. I’d been looking for one for my model 103 for a few months, so was quite happy to find one. I’m aware that this part is discontinued, and can be a bit tricky to find, so I figured it was worth posting here.

Cool. I got like 3 of these from different sellers on eBay about 3 years ago. Figured out a less messy way to empty out the dirt.

I can remember when vac shops had these adaptors on their vacuum bag display boards.

Thanks, Washerguy!
I'm brand new to the 103, but I bought one too. I'll give it a shot!

I think one of the hand vacs I got has one of these fitted. When I picked it up I heard a crumpling noise and went "huh?" and then I felt this long hard tube inside. I think it was one of these adapters and a paper bag inside it. The bag felt full and I was not behooved to open it up and make a mess everywhere so I just left it alone for now until I can get to it.

Personally, I would just run these hand vacuums without the disposable paper bags, in order to have the best incoming airflow.
