I got this for $8 or $10 and it works well, all it needed was a belt. I'm pretty sure this has 6000 series parts on it which means it's probably not original.

I remember those. That was the 2nd to the BOL I THINK it was about $50 more than the Entry model the difference was that this had the metal brushroll I don't think we saw the jump from 10 amps to 12 amps till the model just above this though.

A rock solid vacuum though. It's well worth the money you paid.

She's a good performer.

Wonder if I should do a paper shredded test with all my simplicity vacuums?

When I worked at a Simplicity dealer before, I had swapped parts out from the old versus the new because they don't make the same matching parts anymore. Alot of not all of the companies do this now. They work but I just wasn't really a fan of the looks, I would've rather just had the customers trade in their old Simplicity for a new one instead.

Not a bad find. They probably did what vac shops do to Kirbys is just swap parts over from other models when parts are NLA.

Simplicity vacs people seem to hold onto more. Don't see them show up in thrifting too often. I think I was only able to grab one Simplicity, off eBay as a bundle deal, and it is really beat up. Looks like it was in a tornado.
