Hi
I found this fantom online said to be in New shape with all new filters etc. It has a short in the cord I'm told. I'm not too interested in fantom myself but for resale value. If I got this at $20 changed the cord fixing the short is there money to be made or nit? Thanks in advance. |

These are rare. They were made after the company was re-bought and someone rebooted the name. I am not sure when they actually came out - there's little to no information on them. I know it was in the mid-millenium. 2006? 2005? There's old posts on the site when they were new if you go digging, members here were impressed by it. I like the giant chrome strip, it looks really cool in the sunlight. That mauve color isn't the best to show it off, but you know. The vacuum looks like it was a store display, I don't think it was ever used. Because there's no way to get new parts for these - too obscure. Not sure what they mean by a short in the cord, probably just a damaged sheathing. |
