All industrial equipment can cost as much as the company wants to charge for it, because they know the business has zero choice in the matter. They either buy it or don't. They depreciate like a rock and you can often get these at industrial auctions for $200 +/-. I have seen a lot of the command nodes stuck to the walls in stores, but never actually seen one in use. |

Based on reading the instruction manual, the only automated part is it can be programmed to drive a pre-planned route and not require paying an employee. This has to be manually programmed by placing lidar codes all over the store for it to read and follow, or manually driven to set up a route and then put into automated mode to follow that path. It still has to be mounted and driven to the charger when its battery is low. It can take up to 12 hours to charge the batteries. You also have to top off the batteries with distilled water as needed, as the water level gets consumed by charging. assets.tennantco.com/globalasset... |
