Truthfully

The Penncrest badged Hoovers are quite a bit more valuable than the standard Convertibles.... I sold one to my go to eBay guy and he sold it for $500. It seems to be a case of both face value as well as being somewhat less common to see vintage JCPenney appliances. I know the guy who's selling that one, he seems to usually do good business but I have not personally purchased from him. Someone will more than likely end up buying it 😅

He's not getting $1300 for it.

I wouldn't think so 😅

Maybe a few hundred at minimum, it seems to be in pretty good shape?
Hopefully whoever does buy it gives it the home it deserves
