Just picked up a heritage 2 with a 13 inch nozzle, but it seems the hinges are broken off. Is there anyway I can fix it?

Sid,

You may likely need new hinges; they are part no. 1547. Replacement rivets will be part no. 1545 or 1864.

The hinges are riveted on so you will need a rivet tool and new rivets too.

Thanks guys, couldnt find those parts anywhere in stock so i was able to push out the rivets and added 8 inch zipties and it held up perfectly fine. idk how long itll last but seems pretty sturdy.

Sid,

You can make a Heritage II 13" nozzle from that of a 516 to Dual Sanitronic 80 nozzle, but it will not have the requisite lug for the Heritage's speed switch.

Bottom plate off a ds 80 should fit. If you could rivet it on it would work. You could use very small metal screws to hold the hinges on.
You could get a regular heritage nozzle for parts. Get hinges and parts off of it.
If you use a set tool you could pop out the rivets of the heritage nozzle and reattach on h2 13. You then use needle nose and flatten out the rivets.
There's a few ideas.
