This works great but the foot release petal doesn't seem to work. I did get this for $3 at least, as is.

I don't think there is a pedal on those machines. You just push down on the cleaner head to recline it like on a Dyson or Electrolux Upright. |

This is one of those rebadged Tacony shill models. It was sold as a The Bank, and as Carpet Pro additionally to it being a Riccar and possibly a Simplicity. I don't know the full history of these brands but they all operated as 3rd parties of each other and it just moved down the chain, same exact vacuum just a different color and name. Any of these Fuller Brush brand vacuums are pretty rare, they seldom surface online. There is several of them. |

That's pretty cool, Scott!
I watched your video of it too. It looks really nice. The only Fuller Brush branded vacuum I've ever run across was some sort of stick vac or something. I saw it at a thrift store, maybe last year some time. It wasn't the type of thing I was looking for, so I didn't get it. In hindsight, if any vacuums branded for Fuller are kind of uncommon, maybe I should have sprung for the few dollars for it. |

Here's some photos of Fuller Brush vacuums I seen online over the years. There's a lot more but I don't have those photos saved. |

Tacony contracted with a Chinese manufacture to make several variants under their names, this manufacture didn't just make vacuums for the US but also for other countries as well. I had the TopVac Altima version that wasn't distributed by Tacony but rather through Schneider Industries, Inc. Sadly had to get rid of it because I just couldn't get the smelly odor out of it.
