Can someone tell me how to install a new spring in my model L Electrolux sweeper.
I installed it but it doesn’t remind, the small spool has 38 winds vs 15 for the big spool(cord spool). Where do I set the windings for each spool. Tried several settings but can find the tension needed.
Thanks Kevin

Mo L cordwinder

First-Use caution with any cordwinder spring. If they get loose they can cut you very quickly!
With cord reel and spring in housing let spring go on small reel with no tension, then wind cord reel 3 times, replace cover and test. This should help.
The models L & G were among the very best Electrolux.I mostly use Mo Gs and prefer the Mo L with no cordwinder for less weight and bulk.I should have good Mo L winders if needed.
