Got a brand new 103960 coil for cheap, bought on impulse since its price was very low compared to the average going prices for Kirby coils. I know it's a one-speed coil (so pre-Dual Sanitronic) but which models/armature #'s/amperages are compatible with this coil? Upon quick googling, some sources say 505-Sanitronic 7 while others say 516-Sani 7.
It seems to me that the coil will fit any 5xx chassis but I know that there have been several motor changes throughout its entire run (amperage, OEM, etc). Is this coil a catch-all, where any single-speed armature is compatible?
