From the January 5, 1948, edition of the SYDNEY MORNING HERALD—a British-made Eureka. Interestingly, Eureka UK had its own logomark—at least in that era.

Indeed - fascinating that Eureka had a factory making vacuums in Britain in the 1920’s which were even shipped halfway around the world to Australia at the time! See the link below for a photo of a Eureka vacuum display way out in Perth in western Australia:

Interestingly, the vacuum cleaner logotype in the eBay listing photo is the same as the USA's at the time.
