I picked up another model G from a thrift store. I passed by it several times over the last couple of weekends. It was 75 percent off this past weekend. I have replacement wheels at home so I figured what the heck. The hose still holds good suction which is the main reason I got it. When I opened it up, I found it had a replacement lamb motor that doesn’t seem as strong as the original.
Will a motor from an E or older Electrolux, fit in a G? Just curious thanks!

Yes, vac shops used to do this from what I understand. It has a plate the motor screws into

 =-> I've read in some places by a poster that "G" stood for gentle and quiet performance in the model G. Is this official in any of the Electrolux literature? <-= Doubtful. I've never heard this. If that's the case, did "E" in the Model E stand for "Excellent" and "F" in the Model F stand for "Fantastic?" And what could be said for the Model XXX? That it was X-rated??! | ||
