Hi!

I have an odd question. Back in the 1940s-1980s, typewriter dealers had a resource available to them to help them determine the age of trade-ins. This was called the NOMDA Blue Book, published by the National Office Machine Dealers Association. I'm wondering if a similar resource exists, especially related to Eureka uprights, made between 1947 and 1977

Nick,

I admire the knowledge of typewriters you've gained by researching the business. Thanks for sharing some of it on another thread.

It's plausible that the floorcare industry kept similar records. I wonder if a long-time company, such as Kirby, would be able to provide you any information if you are unable to get answers here? Another possibility is to check with vacuum cleaner sales & service stores that have been in business 50+ years.

Best
