Hi Guys,

Found a new CS on Marketplace for $60.00 so I bought it. Put the 6500-293/Aerus 45350/Tristar 70204 in it or the Ametek 115293? Personally i like the Ametek and I can get a 70205 EXL motor mount. The Johnson is fine in it and the tank is spotless when you wipe with a white cloth just find the pitch of that motor annoying like the Guardian Ultra.

On a side note the nozzle with the lock, Magnalite cover and fixed rear wheels is excellent and I think it cleans better than the lux Omni-Flo with the annoying spring loaded rear wheels that should have fixed mount back in 1984.

If it'll fit I'd choose the 115923 I think it's a stronger motor.

I'd concur. The Johnson is a little underpowered IMO, and the PN on the newer Tristars is merely OK, so getting a bit more airflow will do some good.

For  sure  a stronger motor  will   give it the  hump  that its missing   the  older  DXL CXL  Compact  had  some suction like no tomorow  .
