I got this Yesterday at St Vincent De Paul. The switch is a bit finicky, but that’s fine. The Brush Motor doesn’t have a high pitched screeching noise and instead, an extremely aggressive sounding brush. I also gave it an LED and it’s also pretty weird when the Brush Motor is in use. It’s definitely more powerful than my Twin Chamber in terms of Attachment Power. It also was mint and the only wrong with it was a clog.

Single Brush Model. I know that the Dual Brushed ones were awful.

Gotta say, that's a nice find. It's a shame that such a cool looking machine was not as successful as they were. I got myself a Windtunnel Dual V, and while I haven't used it at all, it's still a cool and quirky machine that i'm glad to have in my collection

Is yours an earlier model?

From what I know, those had a rocker switch that tripped whenever the brushes got stuck. They’re very interesting units, too.

It's a green wind tunnel V2.

Also was that rocker switch tripping thing a defect? Or was it a safety feature?

It was a safety feature for the brushes.

I believe they put that in after there were incidents of the Gears of the Brushes stripping and the earlier versions of the Dual V didn’t have that switch. Your Dual V must be one of the ones that has the Rocker Switch.

The Savvy next to my 2003 Preferred Windtunnel.

I do happen to know that there was also a preferred Dual V Windtunnel that was just like yours. The attachment power on the Savvy is much greater, though. Floor power, The Twin Chamber when it has a freshly twisted Filter.

Well, that's cool. Like I said I don't know how often I'll use my Dual V, I got it more as a collector's item. I have tested it, and it works pretty good, although it does have some problems with it because of its age. If I do use it, I want to get that bag chamber Hoover produced for these machines, and I'm sure you can imagine why. I have used the turbo tool that it came with to clean the stairs and stuff.

Oddly Enough, mine came with 2 Bagless Chambers instead of 1 Bagged, 1 Bagless.

I think the bag chamber was originally only packaged with the Savvys and Dual V Convertibles, but I'm not entirely sure. Regardless, they work in all of the Dual V models as far as I'm aware. On that note, is it normal for these machines to have nothing securing the dirt cup? Because mine doesn't. I don't think anything's missing or broken off of it, but I could be wrong. Maybe the suction of the machine is meant to be the sole thing holding it in place, idk. Otherwise, I'd be worried about it sliding out if it were ever to be tilted sideways.
