My little green is about 10 years old. Maybe even more than that...It works PERFECTLY except for one thing... I think the two O RINGS are disintegrating. What happens is the cleaner head is EXTREMELY difficult to get on/off. I have to use all my strength. If I mess with the O rings and try to get them right... the cleaner head goes on super easy on/off and stops leaking...but the motion when taking it back off/putting back on screws up the position of the O rings AGAIN.. When spraying, it leaks dripping at the point it connects..so you have this drip of water coming out as it's spraying unless I fiddle with the O rings each time....Does anyone have a clue which size O rings to get. Bissell was of NO help...Nor the local vacuum shop..

Try your local big box hardware store. Take the rubber ring in there and ask someone if they can help you find it, or go to the small parts section where the washers and gaskets are and you should be able to find a match. If not, look for cases of assorted sizes of rubber o-rings on amazon and there is bound to be one in there to fit. Mostly everything on shampooers can be fixed with off the shelf plumbing parts in the hardware store.

Also for plastic on plastic lubrication, try rubbing a little bit of this JAWS EcoGuard on the hose end and inside the cleaner socket where the plastic rubs together and it should help. It is water resistant and safe for plastic and will not damage or discolor it.

This should give you an idea of what size to get.

HOLY crap thanks for that ebay link... I searched google and kept getting wrong hits...that's EXACTLY what I need..

Also - thanks for the O ring recommendation. I looked up amazon and saw O ring kits for cheap. Didn't think of that.

So earlier before I made this post I had searched youtube and landed on a video of someone doing some random repair. I asked in the comments section about this and he replies to me that he's at the hardware store with the O rings he thinks will fit and he would let me know if they do and what sizes...I was thinking what? Who would go out of their way to do this so quickly? What a nice man! And then he then replies with a video he JUST MADE showing the exact sizes and how to change them.
