Happy Monday 😍! Here is a Kirby model Classic III with all the goodies. What do you know about this model that stands out from its predecessors ? Main differences between previous models .

Thanks
David

Plastic belt lifter with viewing window, and later models had the cord hooks on the other side. Very early ones had a flawed thin handle grip that was often replaced. And of course the red trim and new bag top :)

I have one of these hand grips and I can see why.
It got a very derogatory name from the Kirby service guys as a result (won't say it here).

That's a beautiful Classic III you have there! I have one too, the later model with the cord hooks on the other side and a Heritage II conversion bag. I also have all the attachments except for the Handi Waxer and the Handi Butler. Here's a pic of mine.

David,

Beautiful Kirby above!Always good to see someone who knows the "goodies" are important.I am cleaning out my former vac store and have MANY large boxes, polishers, renovators, handy butlers, hoses, etc, etc. As much as I like the quality, performance and long life of the Kirby ALL WILL GO.These include almost every model accessory after the 505.As well as boxes of misc small parts.Heritage and Generation hoses, attachments, shampooers, etc are going VERY SOON as I need that space for other storage.50s, 60s, accessories up to Heritage WILL GO a bit later as they take up much space that I need for sorting other brands and models. If you or other Kirby collectors you know have want lists it is NOW or NEVER with these!

There will be more including from 50s and cloth bags. We will start clearing room with Heritage and Generation items TODAY as I need it for other storage.

OMG, is that a G5 zip brush in picture 16??
That is one of the last pieces I need for my newly restored G5..
Sure wish I lived nearby, but then I would have most of that Kirby stuff already!

Ds 80 Roll o Waxer is the only item that I need to finish my ds80 ensemble. Is the brown truck and phone number open to me for this?
Les

Les,

Sorry, that and a few other items were spoken for early afternoon yesterday. Much more available and waiting to be seen.
