I noticed on the Eureka Victorys they have a little door on the bottom left next to the headlight or on some models an exhaust grill, and it's some type of exhaust filter and I was looking at that feature on a downloaded manual. On some models it comes with a micro exhaust filter or a HEPA exhaust filter. Do those really do anything?

Forgot to mention is that the filter type is HF-4 and I believe it was before they added the TRUE HEPA filter system on their vacuums.

Mine has one of those filters, they help capture any dust that'd leak through the bag and the filter underneath. Also I find that it helps capture carbon dust as well as help keeping the noise down.
