Late-ish run Hoover Model 305 Restoration. I love this cleaner. The colors are so well done, and masculine. I love when the early run of Hoover used the color red; it was seldomly done. Fun rebuild!

The machine was a bit rough when it first came to me. The collector I purchased it from bought it online and it was shipped in an oversized box without any packaging. Yikes!
These machines are not as well built as something like a Hoover model 28, which is super interesting...

This is also my first attempt at trying out Marty Kaplan's 'saving a Hoover plug' technique! :) He's a genius..

Out of curiosity, have you ever restored a model 63 before?

Re: 63

Oh man... over the last several years, I've done a ton of Model 63 and 64 Restorations.
Here's some photos of various model 63s I've done.

Fun comparison.

I finished a Model 28 yesterday, and put it next to the 305.
Beautiful machines.

Beautiful, indeed!
In #3 of the Model 63 pictures; would that blue Convertible in the background happen to be a U4145?
