Hi:
I have a set of four "roller" brushes for the NORCA vacuum cleaner made by the Hoover company. The NORCA did not have "beater bars", but used four brushes instead. This set was re-bristled, probably by the "Green Vacuum Cleaner Company". They date back from the mid 1950's until about 1965. My father and I repaired vacuums and small appliances in that era. My father sold and repaired vacuums during the 30's and 40's as well. I have hung on to these NORCA brushes since then. But, now I am 79 years old, so it is time to get them in the hands of someone who owns a NORCA.

I want to give them away, free of all charge, but only to a collector that has a NORCA, especially if their NORCA could use a new set of brushes. No speculators, please.

Please post a picture of you NORCA and your name and mailing address. I will mail the brushes to the first posting meeting the above criteria.

The set consists of two short and two long brushes. One short brush is missing one tuft of bristle at its end, so it is not too noticeable. Probably an error by the person that did the re-bristling. I believe that the missing tuft can be replaced using bristle from a natural bristle paint brush, stiff wire, and glue.

See the photos of the brush set and missing tuft.

Someday, I may have a NORCA.  I only have the 'dustette' type.

If you know a collector that owns a NORCA, please advise them of this free offer if you are able to contact them. Again, my goal is to furnish the brushes to someone who can use them on their vacuum cleaner.

Hi:

I just realized that a collector with a NORCA may not want to post their name and address to the forum. So, I am posting my personal email where I can be reached if interested in my free offer.
I do not see any personal message method on this forum to contact a forum member.

Use below method to contact me.

ronreeland"at"gmail.com Change the "at" to @ of course. This is what I was taught at other forums to prevent "harvesting" of emails by marketers or various scammers.

Thanks,
Ron Reeland
