Hoping someone can assist me with the removal of the suppressor on my VAX 121 carpet cleaner. Once the 4 wires have been cut from the the suppressor is it just a matter of joining all 4 wires together with say a plastic choc bloc??

Thanks in advance..

I believe so, but I'm no electrician!

Removing supressor from VAX 121

I removed the suppressor by cutting the 4 attached wires and reconnecting all 4 into a plastic choc box connector as suggested. The VAX now starts but cannot be switched off at the switch, only at the wall socket.

Can anyone help me. FYI the 4 wires which connected the suppressor were 2 blue wires coming from the on/off switch and 2 black wires going to the motor.

Thanks in advance...
