I have not created a new thread since August, So here we are. Have you ever had a vacuum cleaner, and you thought "I can improve this machine," If so, what vacuum was it, and what would you do to improve it?

I have a Hoover PowerMax canister, Model S3601.
It's kind of a base model of their canister, without too many bells and whistles.
On newer, or maybe just higher priced models, there was a switch on the handle to turn the brushroll on and off. Mine doesn't have that.
So, on my "some day" list, I plan on getting a hose that has that switch.
