Very Interesting.
I live in Dubuque Iowa and the Telegraph Herald is our Local Newspaper. Hoover was not as popular in our area as Eureka. We saw mainly, Kirby, Electrolux, Eureka, Airway, Kenmore and Filter Queen. I remember very well the Eureka Vacuum displays at our Kmart. I have a model Eureka very similar to the one pictured. Off hand I don't know the model number but it has the original distribulator brush roll. Multiple rows of brushes no beater bar. It cleans like a dream. |
