Thanks to Eniot for bringing this upcoming machine to attention. Since the open house has passed new information has become available on their latest stick vacuum.

It looks they've done away with the reconfigurable setup where the power unit can be mounted onto the nozzle and then attach the wand and handle for a lower center of gravity.
it also appears they've changed the location of the battery which may may it more comfortable for above the floor cleaning.
Unfortunately they're continuing with their basic ass single cyclone.

The article can be read here if you wish to know more about them.

Not enough to warrant an upgrade for me…

I like the old setup better. My 84 year old mom wouldn’t use a Dyson because all of the weight is at the handle end. That made the TriFlex look so attractive to her because she could reconfigure it to be a center-weighted stick vac. This looks like it was just an excuse to add LED lighting to the nozzle.

STUPID decision!

They should have kept the TriFlex design. To me, the ability to use it in different configurations and the removable battery were the only things that made the Miele TriFlex "unique" in the marketplace. Considering you have a mono cyclonic system with a messy filter to wash and maintain, and it looks like all the other stick vacs now, why would I choose this and pay double the price instead of a Shark Stratos/Vertex or a Dyson?

I will applaud them for using an "off the shelf" power nozzle. In this case, it's the Wesselwerk EBK250. I have seen three Triflex HX1 units with a defective connection between the head and main unit. That old head was also too tall to get under furniture and just seemed flimsy. I did like the fact that it was one of the only bottom heavy style units.

I just looked at the EBK250

I was taken aback at first when it was described as a “battery powered “ nozzle, but then I saw that the batteries are in the wand and not the nozzle.
