Maybe if you look at the size of it compared to me then we can figure out its gallon size.

I have an old metal shop vac bucket I bought off eBay that was being sold for cheap. I use it to keep my Electrolux and other vacuum wands organized away.

It won't be hard to make a new motor for this. Just get any metal drum lid that fits, and then cut a hole through it and mount any old canister vacuum motor that has an exhaust port. Cut another hole for the hose and you're good to go.

Late to this

Couldn't you measure the capacity of the can to your wet/vac by using a bucket of water that has gal. measurements on the side. You wouldn't have to fill the whole can, just keep track of how many measured buckets of water it took to fill your wet/vac can to say 1/4 or 1/2 full. Just by eye balling you should have a pretty good idea of capacity after a couple of buckets poured in. Then pour the water out on the lawn or a bush so your not wasting the water!
