I just came across this listing on Marketplace in Memphis and thought I should post it here. The Sigma Seven is a vacuum that one rarely sees and this one is in very good shape (with the exception of the rug nozzle lol). Hope someone in the club grabs it as shipping to me would be prohibitive.

Does anyone have any information about these machines? I know they were made by Switson Industries in Canada, probably in the late 60s or early 70s, but thats as far as my information goes.

Didn’t Switson make the Fairfax?

It looks like a variant, possibly even the Filter Magic.

Switson made the Water Matic and some of the parts for the Fairfax (I dont think they made the machine itself but one never knows)

That explains why some of the elements of this one look familiar.

I was going to say, I thought that machine looked like it had some Fairfax DNA.

The Sigma is much prettier in chrome…..

But I do love this one in turquoise - with a Vorwerk power nozzle. Sadly, it’s sold.
