The ten blade fan modification for g series is simple. You’ll have to use a dremel or something to grind away the lip around the spacer. That way it won’t press against the brass ring on the bearing plate. I’ve done this several times before. It works like a charm.
As for putting a six blade in a g series. The fan and the bearing plate itself will need heavy modification. My friend who built my Hentria, had to grind down the bearing plate quite a bit, and file down the spacer on the six blade to get it to work. | ||
