...but boy did it need it. The old leatherette was full of holes and tears, concealed by sharpie. While I was at it I gave it a buff. Anyone that has had to do this to a pre XXX Electrolux, my condolences. It took like 2 hrs just to glue/cut the new leatherette and fit the cast rings! The only thing left is to get a handle for it.

Wow what a transformation, It looks like a brand new machine! Did you have to remove the riveted parts or were you able to tuck the edge of the new leather underneath? Looks great! Thanks for sharing. |
