Whilst the machine is in nice condition its bag is slowly disintegrating so i plan to make a new one .I have done this before once for a hoover 612 [those of you in the USA will know it as a 62 .I have also made a bag for a hoover 119 [Think its called the Lark in the USA] So far i have carefully unpicked the stitching on the old bag and ironed it flat to use as a template in an attempt to get the shape right .I have some heavy duty drill material in black to make the new one with .the bag i have here is not original so i have no idea what the original Hoover logo would look like .if anyone could post a picture of an original i would be most great full. i intend to strengthen the old bag and then stich it back together .Once done i will gently wash it and dye it black .hopefully it will last a little longer

Template

Hey - thats very amazing that you make your own bags. Don't suppose you'd be willing to share the template/sizes for the 700 bag you're making a replica of, as I also need to make one.
