Took them long enough!

Glad to see it though. Hepa bags are basically a must for any high end bagged machine they keep your machine cleaner, and breathe better as they fill.
I do hope they also release a hepa R type too. I know Evacuumstore already has a generic version but it would be nice to see them anyways.

They seem longer than the standard bag length. I've had problems with too-long HEPA cloth Lux bags and the solid bag-chamber. The cloth sucks itself against the screen in the back of the bag compartment, chocking off air-flow. The evacuumstore blue cloth type C bags are shorter and work better than the long V. A. C. America bags.

This is awesome news! I guess they finally realized that to sell high end cleaners in today's market, you MUST offer a HEPA Cloth bag at least as a option. I would be willing to bet that they had customers directly comparing them to Miele and Sebo canisters, see that they have a HEPA Cloth bag, and then question why the Aerus vacuums didn't have one available, and it was possibly making dealers lose sales.

I only hope that they offer HEPA Cloth bags for the other bag styles - Style R & Style U, and that they still offer a paper Home Solutions bag for those customers that prefer them. My only concern would be is, if they make the HEPA Cloth bags really expensive, like the Guardian Platinum Style P bags. Or, that they don't offer them in bulk, only in 12 packs, which again will make them more expensive to most customers and will drive them to buy generic or stick with the paper bags.

Tom - I have that exact same problem with my Kenmore canisters from the 80s and 90s! Yes, the Style Q genuine and generic HEPA Cloth bags do fit those models, but they are too long for them and the bag gets sucked into the pre-motor filter and causes them to lose airflow. My solution to that problem is to fold the bag up in the back a little and put binder clips on to keep the bag the length I folded it to. Now the bag can't get sucked into the pre-motor filter and cause a issue.

Does anyone know if these are available at all Aerus stores? I kind of hate to call my rep. He really is trying hard to sell me an air purifier that I can't afford 😂 I'd rather just pop in my local store and save the sales pitch. Since these aren't on the Aerus online store, I just wonder if they're widely available yet.

Dave, I would guess that Aerus is waiting for the supply of paper Style C Home Solutions bags to be depleted before they update the website. Or, it could be that the paper Style C Home Solutions bags will be offered alongside the HEPA Cloth Style C bags, but the website will only sell the paper bags online. I would stop into your local Aerus dealer and see, and you will save the hassle of the pitch to buy the air purifier.

For the Style R bags, one little trick I have found to make a HEPA Cloth bag work in them is to use a generic Miele U upright bag for the S7/U1 upright. Save a cardboard collar from a Style R bag, wrap the bag door tube with red Tuck Tape to increase the diameter, trim the plastic at the bottom of the Miele bag collar, fit the bag directly on the bag door and close the door. Note however this will ONLY work with the generic bags, it will NOT work using the genuine Miele U bags as they are too long for the bag compartment. What's nice about using the Miele bag is that the flap on the bag collar closes just like the Electrolux bags do, and for those that don't want to use the Evacuumstore Style R bags for some reason, they are a alternative way to get a HEPA Cloth bag for a machine that uses Style R bags.
