Is there any way to repair this damaged belt cover ? I’d hate to throw it away.

Take documented photos and measurements of it with a ruler before you do anything to it before it breaks apart, that way you have a reference point to go off of for the future. Likely can have it 3D printed, it's a pretty simplistic shape so not too hard to re-create. Other than that not much else can be done. The company never expected it to last this long so the materials are simply getting too old. I just got an Electrolux Intensity and all the rubber-ish parts on it are turning sticky. I'm praying it won't rot the rest of the way. I don't know if there's any type of chemical or coating to seal it to stop the reaction. |
