I'm not sure if it's wessell werk but it looks like one made for the sebo or miele.

Nice score Antoine! That would be a PN6 you got there. Take the other non working powerhead into your Aerus dealer, chances are it's the 3 way toggle switch on the powerhead that went bad. It's highly unlikely the motor itself went dead. That switch is discontinued, but they can replace it with the switch & breaker used on the Aerus Classic powerhead.

One of my Epic 6500 power nozzles had no power when I got it.
I'm not sure if it's the same as yours. I know the part that attaches to the wand is different, but maybe they work the same way internally?
Anyway, on mine, there was a wire that had come loose because of the elbow (or neck?) moving.
I opened up the power nozzle, reconnected the wire, and it worked like new.
It would be great if yours is the same!

Barry

Looks very nice with the new hose Antoine. Where did you get that from? And what machine was it from?

Your 89 is a early model, likely from 1967 to 1969. The early models had the chrome top trim, like yours. After 1970, the top trim was painted green until the AP100 was introduced in late 1973.

I hope you can get the second powerhead working....perhaps try taking the switch from the working powerhead and see if that's the issue? Then at least you know for sure what can be saved for parts if you decide not to get the broken parts replaced and repair it at home.

Antoine, my bet is it's a bad power switch based on what you described is happening. Take note of how the vacuum is wired, then unhook the motor wires, and hard wire them to a old power cord. Plug it right into the wall - if the vacuum powers up, it's either the switch or cord rewinder causing issues. It could also be bad contacts in the cord rewinder too, but you would know that if the power fluctuates by pulling the cord in and out.

Great Job on the 2 power nozzles. I'm no electrolux fan but yours looks nice.
I got a blue newer patriot with a wessell werk ebk360 power nozzle.
The patriot is basically a pig.
I still got my c9 I use the heck out of with a eureka power nozzle. The eureka nice but it's not close to what you have.
So I too have 2 pigs now for my daily drivers.
I like my c9 you helped me get the best.

That floorhead is Chinese made, and is common with many extremely budget cleaners. It's based off of a design that first came with the 3-in-1 Vax cleaners in the early 90s.
