Well, now to follow that disciplinary post we just got blasted with above..... LOL
Nice find and addition to your collection with the Dial-A-Matic (D.A.M) as some call them. I have a very limited knowledge of Dial-A-Matics other than knowing it was Hoover's first Clean Air (Bypass) design. There seems to be a love/ hate relationship for these. Some really love them and others want just about nothing to do with them. LOL. It's quite possible over the past 50 -60 years of its life that the baseplate got replace or the font text got scratched off for the model number. |

Thank you all for the replies. I took a closer look at the model number and it is a 1110. I should have used my good eye the first time, lol. Does anyone know how old it is? |
