So i took appart my Tristar Cxl style power head and gave it a good clean. Ouf lots of dust now running much better with the C8 as suction unit.

I  find that the performance  of my  Compact  has   improve  with  the  VAC  Hepa  bags  also   .

The power nozzle have a flat belt or is it a geared belt?

This  one  in  particular has  a  flat belt  i  use a r  Eureka  belt  or   rainbow  belt    i had spare  it fits well  brushroll is  spinning fast lest  slip  ..

 

My  new  white  power head with a  head light ahs a  gear belt.

Great job cleaning out your TriStar powerhead, Antoine. Gotta keep our daily driver vacuum clean and sanitary so it does a good job cleaning our floors :-) .

Next time you buy belts, try the Kirby Generation 301291 knurled belt. The knurled inner surface grips the brushroll pulley and motor pulley much better and longer than conventional flat belts before it wears down and stretches out to the point the belt is no longer effective and needs changing.

I will look for those belts and yes maintenance goes a long way. You might say
, shes my baby.Because my grand mother had a blue one and my god father sold em so i keep her in tip top shape.

Eureka belt is oem belt for the power nozzle. The kirby royal eureka and rainbow belt have the same. Part number in a few vacuum order magazines I have.
