Hello. I just got an Electrolux L E with an owner's manual that indicates it was sold in 1987. Was this an Electrolux USA product? I think the Aerus (and the selling of the Electrolux name) came out later. I'm just curious if I got an actual Electrolux machine or the European variant. Thanks.

It would  be a USA variant    Aerus  was  not until the  mid  2000's  if  memory  serves  me  right    .
